How to upgrade the Galaxy Note 2 to the Android KitKat

Has the latest Android devices using the OS is not much pride when compared to having the old android device or smartphone with the latest version of Android OS ( Kit Kat ) . But unfortunately sometimes on some old smartphones sometimes can not find the update via OTA ( Over The Air ) . So inevitably if we want to also feel the latest version , then there is no other way except to update manually either directly or via a smartphone via ODIN .

How to manually update the Samsung Galaxy Note to Android 2 Kit Kat

In this post we want to share how to do an update of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 ( N7105 ) which by default factory using Jelly Bean OS 4.2 to latest android OS is Android 4.4 ROM Omni Kit Kat . But one important thing to note is to backup all your existing data on your device before you perform the update .   1. Download Android OS 4.4 Firmware Package Kitkat . via PC
  2. Download the Google App  , via PC
  3. After all the package you download is complete , connect your smartphone to your PC
  4. Copy and paste the second package to the SD card ( outside of any folder )
  5. Unplug your android smartphone from a PC
  6. Then turn off your device .
  7. Turn and go into " recovery mode " by pressing Power + Volume UP + Home simultaneously
  8. After the samsung logo appears release all the buttons you press .
  9. Point your mouse to the right Clear Partition and press ok / home
  10. Navigate back to WIPE and press home / ok
  11. Last navigate to the install menu form SD Card
  12. Browse to the SD Card and navigate to the firmware file that you copied KitKat -paste earlier .
  13. Once the update process is complete do not forget to install the Google App package to install the same way as step 11-12 .
  14. And last Reboot your android smartphone .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Done , and enjoy Android Kit Kat .
